Microsoft cofounder, Paul Allen, has sued Google, Apple, Facebook, and eight other companies for patent infringement.  Allen, who has now become a billionaire, sued eleven large companies based websites, including Apple, Google, Facebook, Yahoo, YouTube and eBay. He accused the company of violating patents owned internet.

AOL, Netflix, Office Depot, OfficeMax, and Staples are accused of violating another company’s patents on the technology of the most basic web site and were first developed in the 1990s. According to Allen, patents that are owned by the interval Research, a technology lab had made with David Liddle in 1992. Interval Research employs more than 110 leading scientists to design the next generation of technology.

According to a spokesman for Allen, David Postman, the claim was posted to protect the investment in innovation.
